AzCATI's Peter Lammers is leading a pilot project using algae to clean up wastewater and generate energy in Las Curces, New Mexico. In a recent article by the Guardian, Lammers work with building energy-positive wastewater treament to slow environmental degradation was highlighted. The article also announced that Lammers will be working on a similar project which will start up in Phoenix, Arizona this year.
