Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah presented a commencement speech at the Renewable Energy Leadership Training Program, funded by ASU LightWorks. The inaugural event took place on November 17 in Nablus, West Bank and was attended by officials from the Palestinian Energy Authority and representatives from ASU and An-Najah National University. The objective of the course is to develop a comprehensive training program on renewable energy and further collaboration between the two universities
LightWorks is currently seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful intern to work in their Sustainable Fuels & Feedstocks space. The intern will be exposed to a variety of fields including marketing, communication, biology, business and commercial/economic development. In addition to hands-on experience, the intern will also have the opportunity to request working on projects that fit their particular area of interest. This internship is paid and located on ASU Polytechnic campus. The closing date for applications is December 13, 2013.
