Using the history of anti-nuclear opposition in India from the 1970s to post-Fukushima to explore the role of science in democracy, Monamie Bhadra, PhD student at the Consortium for Science, Policy & Outcomes (CSPO), will show why democratization of nuclear power has not followed a similar trajectory.
